Joint Conference of the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) and the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work (APA-PFAW)

We are pleased to share that the 2027 Joint Conference of the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) and the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work (APA-PFAW) will be held from 27 to 30 October 2027 at the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan.

The conference will focus on the theme “Healthy Aging and Decent Work for All”, addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing modern societies. As populations continue to age and workplaces evolve, new health risks associated with demographic changes and psychosocial work environments are emerging as significant public health concerns. At the same time, rapid technological advancements are creating both opportunities and challenges, with important implications for worker health, wellbeing, and health equity.

The conference will feature six distinguished keynote speakers who will explore these critical issues from diverse perspectives. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, the event aims to foster collaboration, share cutting-edge research, and support the development of evidence-informed policies and practices that promote healthier and more sustainable working lives.
